The Japanese Ceremony Bamboo Chasen is an essential teaware tool used in traditional tea ceremonies for whisking matcha green tea powder into a frothy, creamy beverage. This handmade whisk, crafted from high-quality bamboo, features 100 prongs that create a smooth foam when the matcha is vigorously stirred with hot water. The production process involves careful low-fire roasting to enhance the resilience of the bamboo, ensuring longevity and durability. When the chasen comes into contact with water, its bristles become soft and flexible, which is normal and essential for effective whisking. Measuring 10 cm by 5.5 cm, this bamboo whisk is perfect for both beginners and experienced tea enthusiasts looking to elevate their matcha preparation.
